JSG are a 4 piece Indie Rock band from Manchester. With tunes that are guaranteed to get your foot tapping and melodies that will get you jumping.
Our music is an infectious mix of catchy riffs, pumping basslines, tight beats and sharp lyrics - reflecting the highs and lows of modern life. With a unique sound likened to The Kinks, Squeeze, Echo and the Bunnymen, Manson and even REM, social realism and dark humour combine to tell relatable stories about love, struggle and frustration.

JSG are are available to book for support slots or showcases. Typical set times are from 30 mins to an hour. We're a 4 piece consisting of Drums, Bass, Rhythm Guitar and vocals and Lead guitar and backing vocals, We also use a sample pad for synths\horn section. We have all of our own equipment and can provide backline. We also have our own P.A and monitors if its not available at the venue.
Achievements
Since our debut release, the band has gained national and international radio support across the UK, Europe and the USA. Our first single, You Really Do It For Me, was featured as the main track in the British independent film Casting Call and achieved over 5,000 streams in its first month, while also being included in multiple radio stations’ Top 10 New Releases lists. Follow-up single Unsigned spent six consecutive weeks at number 4 in the Spanish Independent Radio Charts’ Top 10. As a live act, the band has headlined the Manchester Academy and performed at multiple festivals alongside established British indie bands Dodgy and Inspiral Carpets.
